Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of these specifications to describe requirements for the purchase and delivery of one (1) complete, new, pre-assembled modular building unit (PMBU) meeting the attached specifications. The PMBU shall comply with all NYS Building Code requirements applicable to the unit. The PMBU shall be new and all bid proposals shall include all equipment, supplies, materials, delivery and unloading of the complete building. The vendor shall provide five (5) sets of complete building plans and specifications certified by a NYS Professional Engineer for the building.
The unit shall meet or exceed all of the specifications included as Attachment 1. The use of trade names is not intended to be restrictive and other manufacturers units meeting or exceeding these specifications will be considered. The terms “Meet or Exceed” are not acceptable in bidders specifications sheets. Bidder must identify and describe all items offered. Failure to do so may be grounds for rejection. Whether specifically mentioned herein or not, all items of equipment, assemblies, subassemblies and accessories normally furnished shall be included unless specifically deleted or otherwise specified herein.
It is anticipated that the purchase price will include assembly of the building on-site. All on-site work relative to said assembly shall comply with prevailing wage requirements, (also attached to these specifications).
