RFB-WC 51-13 - Purchase of up to six cars & two trucks

Summary of Specifications:
SCOPE: It is the intent of these specifications to purchase up to six (6) 2013 or newer passenger vehicles for the Warren County Public Health Department, one 1 ton 4x4 regular cab pick-up and one 4 ton 4x4 crew cab and chassis for the Department of Public Works. It is not necessary that the vehicles be in stock. If ordering said vehicles will be in the best interest of the County, please bid based on the ordered vs. in-stock pricing. Delivery requirements are more fully set forth below. 

The County is seeking bids on the following vehicles: 

1. Up to four (4) subcompact cars - Ford Fiesta or equal; 2. Up to two (2) compact cars - Ford Focus or equal; 3. One 1 ton 4x4 regular cab pick-up - Ford F350 or equal; and 4. One 4 ton 4x4 crew cab and chassis - Ford F550 or equal. 



Item 3 above shall be four-wheel drive, 10,400 pound (#) gross vehicle weight (GVW) class with minimum wheelbase of 137" cab to axle dimension and minimum payload of 1 ton. Item 4 shall be four-wheel drive, 18,000 # GVW class with minimum wheelbase of 176" cab to axle dimension and minimum payload of 4 ton. The intended use of these vehicles is to haul/tow construction materials and equipment both on and off road. Further specifications are provided on the Detailed Specification Sheets. 

All vehicles proposed must be new. Warren County will only accept 2013 model years if they are not used.
