WC 25-23 - RFP to Develop a Modernization & Connectivity Plan for Multi-Use Trails

The Warren County Bikeway and the Feeder Canal Trail were constructed approximately three decades ago.  Since their installation, there have been periodic improvements.  However, best practices for the design and maintenance of multi-use trails have greatly advance since creation of the trails.  Now, Warren County and partner municipalities would like to develop an actionable plan to modernize and improve the multi-use trail network so that they more closely reflect the design standards outlined by NACTO, Federal Highway Administration, and the Empire State Trail Design Guidelines.  Additionally, there is a strong desire for connections between the existing trail network and the adjacent downtown areas of Hudson Falls, Glens Falls and Lake George.
