Description

The project is being funded, in part, by Department of State (DOS) grants to complete the above-referenced project. The project will be constructed under one general construction contract. The project consists of work including providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of work shown on the plans and described in these specifications, including but not necessarily limited to the following:

Excavation for and construction of new reinforced concrete bridge abutments and footings. Purchase, unloading, and installation of new prefabricated bridge assembly. Coordination of distance between abutments, anchor bolt placement, and fabrication/delivery times with bridge manufacturer.

Due to COVID-19 and restricted access to County facilities, bids may be submitted by curbside drop off or via USPS, FedEx or UPS to the undersigned at the Warren County Human Services Building, Warren County Purchasing Department, 3rd Floor, 1340 State Route 9, Lake George, New York 12845. If dropping off via curbside delivery, vendors must make an appointment with the Purchasing Department and will be met at the front of the building at their scheduled time. Please note if mailing, County mail is picked up from the Lake George Post Office each weekday morning. Bids delivered to the Post Office on the afternoon of bid opening day will NOT be received until the following day. Please account for this if using the USPS. FedEx and UPS deliver directly to the Municipal Center. Bids will be received up until Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at which time they will be opened and read live on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCs6noUACIHSxGD1Mvk2WRDQ.
