Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of this bid to secure approximately 275,000 GALLONS of 93 OCTANE UNLEADED GASOLINE FOR A ONE YEAR PERIOD. A List of qualified employees and their years of experience shall be required by the Warren County Superintendent of Public Works. No contract shall be awarded to any corporation not incorporated in the State of New York unless such corporation shall have been qualified to do business within the State of New York pursuant to Section 210 of the General Corporation Law. The Fuel Price shall be F.O.B. storage tank free of any and all taxes from State, Local or Federal agencies. This may include, but not be limited to, sales tax (State and Local) or Federal Excise or Duty Tax. Base Price is the low Port of Albany Rack price as defined in the Journal of Commerce on the day of delivery. Bidder shall be responsible to furnish Warren County with said daily posting for each day of delivery. The Base Price shall be subject to increases and decreases in accordance with the daily Port of Albany Rack price. Fixed Bidder Adjustment Per Gallon defined in cents is in addition to the Port of Albany LOW Rack price. This adjustment allows the Bidder to maintain a consistent profit which is independent of market fluctuations. This adjustment shall be fixed and shall be set for the duration of the contract. Transport loads are in terms of 5,000 gallons or more. Tank wagon loads are for 1,800 gallons or less. All sites, except Hague and Bolton, use Transport loads. The Bidder Agrees to actually delivery the transport load quantity requested. The Bidder at no time has any authority to regulate the amount/quantity requested. In other words, an order request of 5000 gallons should fall within the 5000 gallon range plus or minus a few gallons.
