Summary of Specifications:
The bidder shall furnish steel blades for snowplows delivered F.O.B. Warren County Department of Public Works Maintenance Facility, 4055 Main Street, Warrensburg, New York, 12885 in accordance with orders and these specifications. The bidder is informed that the delivery of the blades is to be made within thirty (30) days from receipt of order and in the quantities ordered by the County Superintendent. All tungsten carbide inserts for blades shall be trapezoidal in conformation, not of the "log cabin" insert type. All blades shall be new stock and free from rust and scale and structural defects when delivered, be of standard manufacture, punched and dimensioned and numbered as required by the purchaser. All blade steel to be fine grade hot rolled-open hearth type with a Brinell hardness of 250 to 325 and conform to the following analysis: Carbon.85 Min..98 Max. Manganese.60min..90max. Silicon.40max. Phosphorous.05max. Sulphur .05max. Payment shall be made only for units delivered and receipted for at the Warren County Maintenance Facility, 4055 Main Street, Warrensburg, NY, 12885 in accordance with these specifications.
