Summary of Specifications:
This specification covers the furnishing and delivery to designated locations in Warren County, New York, for Corrugated Polyethylene Culvert Pipe and Fittings in accordance with the specifications contained herein. The corrugated polyethylene culvert pipe and fittings shall meet the applicable requirements of AASHTO M294 Type S or Type SP standard specification for smooth interior corrugated polyethylene pipe and fittings, AASHTO M252 or ASTM D1248, Class B, standard specification for perforated corrugated polyethylene under drain tubing, AASHTO M 294, Type C, standard specification for corrugated interior polyethylene pipe, 12" to 36" diameter and fittings, all as shown in Sections 706-12, 706-13, and 706-14 of the Standard Specifications of the New York State Department of Transportation, dated January 2, 2002 and addenda thereto. Quantities shall be such lengths and sizes as may be required and shall be delivered by motor truck and unloaded at any point in Warren County as may be designated by the County Superintendent of D.P.W. Delivery shall be made within seven days after a specific order has been placed. Successful bidder will be required to have a large stock of pipe on hand for immediate emergency use. Payment shall be made on the basis of individual orders delivered and accepted at the designated job sites.
