Summary of Specifications:
Warren County is a municipal corporation located approximately two hundred (200) miles north of the City of New York and in the vicinity of Lake George. The County provides a full range of services typical of county governments including an active Tourism Department. Warren County desires to receive Proposals from individuals, companies and/or organizations who can provide a Clipping Service for Monitoring of Public Relations Efforts. More specifically, the County desires to employ a service provider, with a strong background and history in the field, who can provide the following services in accordance with commonly accepted industry or professional standards: Vendor to have the ability to monitor all North American news outlets of daily and weekly newspapers, consumer magazines and trade journals, as well as internet sites and broadcast of national news segments and specialty shows. Vendor to provide ability for client to view broadcast coverage with an option to purchase an entire broadcast transcript. Clips to be received electronically through a viewing site with secure access. Availability to review clips weekly and/or monthly with the ability to search and sort articles. Client to notify vendor of key words. Vendor to identify number of key words available. Client to have ability to re-evaluate key words after trial period, if any. Flexibility for clipping service to work with our per clip budget Providing periodic reports to the Warren County Board of Supervisors concerning the number of referrals made to the Program, number of persons actually served and other similar information, to the extent allowed under Federal and/or State Law rule or regulation.The services are anticipated to commence upon award of contract and the person or company is asked to plan to continue to provide services for one year from March 1, 2006 or until terminated at an earlier time at the option of the County, upon ninety (90) days notice. If the agreement is terminated early, it is anticipated that fees would, in the absence of a breach, be pro-rated. Contract may be extended annually for up to an additional two years at the discretion of the Board of Supervisors.
