061-22 - Jail Medical Services

Wayne County on behalf of the Sheriff’s Office is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced companies to provide Inmate Medical Services at the Wayne County Jail located in Lyons, New York. The County is seeking vendor(s) who are willing to partner with the County to develop a medically responsive on-site program.

As a part of the proposal process, we are seeking guidance from our prospective vendors to provide expertise and proven strategies for implementing and operating a prudent, cost saving, program - oriented inmate health care program that complies with the requirements of New York State Commission of Corrections, State Statutes, and any local laws. We encourage vendors to supply an alternate detailed proposal that has proven strategies for reducing the overall healthcare cost for the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
