040-22 - Preventive Services

The Wayne County Department of Social Services is seeking to contract for preventive services for: 1.) youth who are at risk of placement outside of their homes and 2.) youth and their families that have been referred to receive Persons in Need of Supervision (PINS) Diversion services.  The successful bidder will provide the following services to a target population of 1.) Wayne County families with children at high risk of out-of-home placement as a result of child welfare and/or juvenile delinquency proceedings through Family Court; 2.) Children transitioning from out-of-home placement back to their families; 3.) Wayne County families with children that are experiencing excessive truancy and/or other behavioral, mental health or substance abuse issues that affect them across a variety of environments.
