Description

Westchester County is seeking proposals not only to operate, but also to enhance and complement the current program delivery and technology components of the Traditional Service of its paratransit program, known as Bee-Line ParaTransit, in order to strengthen program delivery and operational efficiencies. While the County provides certain program functions described in more detail below, the operation of its Paratransit Bus services has been done by private operators and the procurement of such an operator(s) is the goal of this RFP.
The start date of the contract associated with this RFP is January 1, 2022. The term of the contract will be five (5) years, expiring on December 31, 2026, with one five (5) year renewal option to be exercised at the sole discretion of the County, upon the same terms and conditions, including rates provided by the proposer(s).
