Description

Emergency Repair of Leaks, Westchester County Sewer and Water Districts, Various Locations throughout Westchester County, New York. The work to be performed under this Contract consists of furnishing labor and equipment required to repair leaks, overflows and breaks that can occur at Westchester County DEF facilities including but not limited to the County Trunk Sewer System, Pumping Stations, Wastewater Treatment Plants, County Water District Water Mains and Water District Facilities. The contract is for the period May 23, 2023 to May 22, 2026, subject to appropriations. The Contract may be extended by mutual consent of the Contractor and the County of Westchester for one (1) additional three-year term, with all prices, terms
and conditions remaining the same as the original contract.

Each bidder is required to submit the full set of authorized Proposal pages. A Performance Bond and Bid Bond will not be required. The County shall retain five percent (5%) of all payments to the Contractor for 60 days after completion of a repair as security for the faithful performance of this Agreement. Upon the conclusion of the sixty (60) day period following the completion of a repair during the term of this Agreement, the Contractor may request the release of said retainage.
