11-548 - HVAC Equipment & Odor Control Improvements Phase 4, YJWWTP, Yonkers, N.Y.

The work under this final 4th phase of the contract consists of providing all necessary labor, materal and equipment reqired to rehabilitate systems associated with the HVAC Systems and Odor Control Components, which were installed in 1979 and have reached the end of their useful life, in the Dissolved Air Flotation Thickener Building.  The Phase 4 work will include, but not limited to, replacement of HVAC and Odor Control Systems, repairs and upgrades to the Sludge Loading Bay including the concrete slab and ventilation duct registers, replacement of the scrubbers for the Primary Settling Tanks and replacement of the Grit Tank wash down system as well as flood mitigation work as a result of Hurricane Sandy.  (Bid range: $18,000,000.00 to $ 20,000,000.00).
