Summary of Specifications:
Internal CCTV and Sonar Inspection of a Portion of The Tarrytown North Intercepting Sewer, Saw Mill Sewer District Village of Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York. The work to be performed under this Contract consists of furnishing labor and equipment required to perform an internal video and sonar inspection of a portion of the Tarrytown North Intercepting Sewer in the Village of Sleepy Hollow. The Contractor under Item No. 1 shall perform an internal closed circuit television (CCTV) and an internal sonar inspection of a portion of the Tarrytown North Intercepting Sewer in the Village of Sleepy Hollow to inspect for defects and operational issues as well as quantify the amount of settled deposits in the sewer, if any. The approximate length of the sewer section to be inspected is 2,630 linear feet of 24” intercepting sewer, 2,410 linear feet of 30” intercepting sewer and twenty two (22) associated sewer manholes. Cameras should be designed for the specified use. Where site constraints preclude the use of a video camera, an alternate method, approved by the County, may be employed. The televising shall be done one sewer line section (manhole to manhole, chamber to chamber, etc.) at a time.
