Description

The County of Westchester (the “County”) is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for the provision of professional services by qualified professional operators for the 24 X 7 operation of the County’s Central Heating Plant (CHP) that serves critical facilities that must operate 24 X 7 all year, located on the County’s Valhalla, New York campus. The County seeks proposals for a five (5) year contract, with the County’s option for one five (5) year renewal of the contract. It should be noted that this contract will only be for CHP operations and that the County will retain responsibility for maintenance and repair of such facility and related infrastructure.

Each proposer must submit one (1) original and three (3) copies of its proposal to:

The original proposal must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked: “PROPOSAL – REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO PROVIDED QUALIFIED OPERATORS FOR 24 X 7 OPERATION OF THE COUNTY OF WESTCHESTER’S CENTRAL HEATING PLANT IN VALHALLA, NEW YORK FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS WITH ONE RENEWAL OPTION”. The required copies should be delivered simultaneously in a separately sealed package indicating they are copies of the proposal with the same clearly marked title of the proposal.

Proposals may be delivered by hand, by certified U.S. mail, return receipt requested, or by national private carrier (e.g. Federal Express, UPS) which generate a receipt of delivery indicating date and time of delivery.
