The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for FY 23 Transit ADA Improvements Bid No. FY23-14 located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
Description: The project consists of, but is not limited to, the installation of new five (5’) sidewalk, new ADA compliant concrete curb ramps, asphalt trail, ADA compliant bus pads as well as additional ADA improvements at multiple locations throughout the City of Jacksonville limits.
Bidders must submit their sealed bid as a hard copy. Bids are to remain valid 60 days after receipt of bids.
Bids are due by 10:00 AM (EST) on July 11 2023, either via mail or hand delivery. The Bid shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope/box marked: “FY 23 Transit ADA Improvements Bid No FY23-14.” Address to mail in the bid is: City of Jacksonville, Attn: City Clerk, 815 New Bridge St, PO Box 128, Jacksonville, NC 28541. Any bid that is submitted after the time stated will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered.
There will be a public bid opening on July 11, 2023 @ 10:00 AM. It will be held at 815 New Bridge St, Jacksonville NC 28540 in Meeting Rooms A & B.
There will be no pre-bid meeting. Individual meetings with Bidders will not be held due to personnel workload.
Bids will be received on Single Prime contract basis. Bids shall be on a lump sum and/or unit price basis.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the Transportation Department at Jacksonville Station located at 1300 N. Marine Blvd, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
