The City of Jacksonville is soliciting proposals for the on-demand purchase of FY23- Transit Bus Tires
for the Fleet Maintenance Department. The term of this procurement begins. The term of this
procurement begins July 1, 2022 and ends June 30, 2024. The City will select items based upon
the criteria listed in Section III that are most advantageous to the City. The City of Jacksonville
will be awarding the Purchase Order to one (1) vendor for all tires listed in this Request for Proposal (RFP).
Vendors may submit their proposals digitally if the due date and time requirements are met. If the proposal is
submitted digitally, no hard copies will need to be submitted.
If a Vendor chooses to submit a hardcopy of their proposal, submit three (3) hard copies of the proposal.
The hard copies shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked: “Request for Proposals: FY23 Transit Bus Tires”
and delivered to: City of Jacksonville, Attn: Edward Richards, 350 C S. Marine Blvd Jacksonville, NC 25840.
Proposals are due by 3:00 PM (EST) on May 26, 2022 either via email to erichards@jacksonvillenc.gov and
mdean@jacksonvillenc.gov or by mail. Any proposal that is submitted after the time stated will be considered
non-responsive and will not be considered. If submitting digitally, the Vendor may wish to use the email receipt
confirmation to confirm delivery of the proposal.
The following forms must accompany your bid in order to be considered responsive:
- Form A – Certification Regarding Lobbying
- Form B – Debarment, Suspension, Ineligibility Certification
- Form C – DBE Utilization
- Form D – Letter of Intent Perform as Subcontractor
- Form E – Affidavit of No Change for DBE Business
