The City of Jacksonville is soliciting competitive bids for the purchase of one Auxiliary Vehicle- SUV for their Transportation Department. The City of
Jacksonville is seeking bids for the delivery of one (1) seven (7) passenger Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV). The SUV shall be the latest model year (2024) and
shall have all equipment ordinarily furnished in such models. This will be considered a one-time purchase.

• Vehicle must be delivered within 30 days
• Vehicle must have a valid North Carolina inspection complete
• Vehicle must have full tank of gas
• Must have three Keys and three keyless remote FOBS delivered with vehicle if applicable
• Payment will be made to the vendor once the vehicle has been accepted “along with meeting all the conditions as stated in the box below”. The equipment
must be in good working order with warranty cards. The certificate of origin along with a copy of the invoice shall be delivered to the Fleet Maintenance Division
at 350 C South Marine Blvd, Jacksonville, N.C 28540 on or before the delivery date of the vehicle.

Bid Submittal Requirements
Sealed bids from qualified bidders must be submitted as a hard copy ensuring that the due date and time requirements are met. Bids are to remain valid
for 90 days after receipt of bids. They may be either hand delivered or received by mail. Sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk of the City
of Jacksonville, at Meeting Room A, City Hall, 815 New Bridge St. Jacksonville, NC 28540 until 3:00 PM EST on February 9, 2024, at
which time they will be publicly opened and read. Any bid that is submitted after the time stated will be considered non-responsive and will not be
considered. If the Bid is sent by mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope containing the Bid shall be enclosed in a separate envelope plainly
marked on the outside with the notations “BID ENCLOSED”, title of the work, Bid number and Name of the Bidder.

The City of Jacksonville shall award a contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder whose bid is most advantageous to the City. The City does, however, reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
There will be no pre-bid meeting held. Questions about this bid must be submitted via email to cramirez@jacksonvillenc.gov until 5:00pm on January 12, 2024.
Questions received will be answered through issuance of an addendum by January 16, 2024. Questions received after this time will not be answered. Individual
meetings with Bidders will not be held due to the personnel workload.
The City of Jacksonville, North Carolina, reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
