The City of Jacksonville is seeking request for proposals (RFP) for a multi-year contract to hire a professional to wrap six (6) new buses and to repair wraps on the new transit buses procured by the Transportation Department. One Vendor will be awarded a three-year base contract with option to renew the following option years one and two. The intent is to wrap new vehicles (painted white) as they are received; as well as touch up or partial replacement in cases of accidents or other damage on the 35Ft Allstar 2022 Rear Lifts. The City estimates to replace approximately 2-3 vehicles per year. In the last 12 months, Jacksonville Transit has had one occasion when a repair was necessary: One (1) repair of driver’s side front panel wrap.
The vendor will be notified ahead of time of the bus available for wrapping and the bay will be made available for installation. This procedure will follow the procurement of the new buses. Each bus wrap must include coverage of the entire bus (painted white) including design, decals, lettering, and numbering.
Please refer to Attachment 1 for more information for the area and design requirements by the City.
