Description

The City of Jacksonville is seeking Requests for Proposals (RFP) for a three-year Base Contract, with an option to renew for two (2) additional years, exercisable in one (1) year increments to purchase sixteen (16) AI-12 Dashcam systems with appropriate cabling and Cloud Services for its fleet of transit buses. The City of Jacksonville will conduct a self-installation of all equipment relative to this RFP. Cloud Services shall be provided by the Vendor in compliance with the specifications listed in Section VI.

The City reserves the right to alter the schedule of events or any portion of this RFP. The City will notify all Proposers of changes in writing through the issuance of written addendums. Any addendums issued in relation to this RFP are valid and binding.

Vendor shall offer services at the rates established during the three (3) year “Base Contract Term”. This Contract shall continue in full force and effect unless terminated earlier as herein provided. This contract will serve as a Master Contract and will be the basis for any goods or services purchased during the term. The City will issue a new Purchase Order for all goods or services purchased during the term of this contract. Upon mutual written agreement, the Contract will be extended one (1) year, and again for a second year. The City will communicate with the Vendor its intention to exercise either of the Option Years. The City will negotiate prices for the option years at the time of exercise, but the increase shall not exceed three percent (3%) of the prior year’s rate or fee unless the price increase is beyond the Proposer’s control.
Vendors are to submit either via email to cramirez@jacksonville.gov or by mail at the address below. If submitting digitally, the Firm may wish to use the email receipt confirmation to confirm delivery of the RFP, due by 5:00 PM EST on August 2nd,2024. Any RFP submitted after the time stated will be non-responsive and will not be considered.

The responsibility for submitting proposals including all documents requested herein is solely and strictly that of the bidder. Jacksonville Transit is not responsible for delays in the delivery of mail, or delays caused by any other occurrence.
All prospective Vendors shall submit any request for addenda, amendments to, clarification or modification of this RFP by email to Christina Ramirez (cramirez@jacksonvillenc.gov) by 5:00 PM on July 16, 2024.
