The City of Jacksonville is seeking quotes for services to clean and remove grit and grease from three (3) pumping stations quarterly and to clean grit chambers at the City’s Wastewater Treatment Facility, twice annually.
All quotes are due by 5:00 p.m. on August 16, 2022 for services noted on this Request for Quotes. Interested bidders must sign this Request for Quotes and either email it to Barrysha Abney at babney@jacksonvillenc.gov or deliver it to the Public Services Department, Administrative Division, at Jacksonville City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. The responsibility for submitting bids (including all documents requested herein) is solely and strictly that of the Bidder. The CITY is not responsible for delays caused by any other occurrence. Quotes received after the time and date stated above will not be considered.
It is understood that the locations listed in this document are solely for the purpose of facilitating the comparison of Bids, and that the Vendor’s compensations will be computed upon the basis of the actual completed work, whether they be more or less than those shown herein.
The City of Jacksonville will coordinate with Vendor regarding which location(s) to be serviced. The City offers no guarantee that all locations listed within this document will need serviced each fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).
Prices shall be guaranteed until June 30, 2023. The City of Jacksonville reserves the option to renew this Agreement for two (2) additional one (1) year terms, if all parties agree. Additional terms would be from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 and July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. Requests for modifications to pricing shall be submitted to the City of Jacksonville by the Vendor on or before March 15 of each year to be considered for the renewal.
