The City of Jacksonville is requesting Proposals for the purchase of an:
INTERVIEW RECORDING SOFTWARE & HARDWARE SYSTEM
Installation and Configuration for 10 Interview Rooms
Sealed Proposals will be received by the City Clerk’s Office of the City of Jacksonville, North Carolina, located at , 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540, until 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on OCTOBER 2, 2023 at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the New Bridge Conference Room at Jacksonville City Hall. Any Bid received later than the specified time will not be accepted or considered. The sealed proposal must be clearly marked “Bid for INTERVIEW RECORDING SOFTWARE & HARDWARE SYSTEM – Bid No. FY 24-02” and date and time of closing. The City of Jacksonville, NC assumes no responsibility for unmarked or incorrectly marked proposals or any delays in delivery by any delivery method.
An optional Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for September 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Center for Public Safety located at 200 Marine Boulevard, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Participants shall meet in the lobby. Bidders will be given the opportunity to inspect the areas where the system will be installed and ask any questions regarding the RFP. Technical questions may be answered in the form of an Addendum.
It is understood that the City of Jacksonville reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to make awards according to the best interest of the City, to waive formalities, technicalities, and re-advertise this project.
WITHDRAWAL OF BID: No Proposal may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date of Bid Opening.

QUALIFICATIONS: If not currently a Vendor for The City of Jacksonville, the successful bidder must provide a Vendor Application and W-9 to the City of Jacksonville. The City is exempt from Federal Excise Tax. Our Federal Tax Identification Number is 56-6000232. The City is not exempt from NC State & County Sales Tax. Such taxes shall be shown as a separate item on all invoices, when applicable. The Vendor must accept City of Jacksonville Purchase Order and the Terms and Conditions attached as Exhibit 1, as well as, Insurance Requirements listed in Exhibit 2.
