Prospective bidder will transport Oyster Catcher patties over water – from the staging facility at Sturgeon City (unseeded) to the 9 lower-estuary NREOH sites – and install patties as 45 patch reefs at each site for the New River Oyster Highway Project and will conduct NREOH site surveys. Prospective bidder will transport and deliver all items to the Sturgeon City Environmental Center 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC), where they will be loaded on boats for relay to the designated New River Estuary Oyster Highway reef sites as directed by CoJ staff.

All Bids are due by 12:00 p.m. on April 18, 2023 for the Oyster Catchers noted on this Request for Bids. Interested bidders must sign this Request for Bid and either email it to Pat Donovan-Brandenburg at pdonovan-brandenburg@jacksonvillenc.gov or deliver it to the Public Services Department, Water Quality Division, at Jacksonville City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.

If not currently a Vendor for The City of Jacksonville, the successful bidder must provide a Vendor Application and W-9 to the City of Jacksonville. The City is exempt from Federal Excise Tax. Our Federal Tax Identification Number is 56-6000232. The City is not exempt from NC State & County Sales Tax. Such taxes shall be shown as a separate item on all invoices, when applicable. The Vendor must accept City of Jacksonville Purchase Order and the Terms and Conditions attached as Exhibit 1.
