The City of Jacksonville is requesting bid proposals for Asbestos Removal at
137 Marine Blvd which includes the all equipment, labor, material and services required for the
removal and disposal of asbestos containing material as identified in Exhibit 3, Asbestos Survey
for this address.
BIDS DUE: All bids are to be returned to Deanna Trebil by 5:00 p.m. on September 27, 2021 at
the Transportation Services Department at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge
Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Bids can be mailed to Ms. Trebil’s attention at the above
address, emailed to dtrebil@jacksonvillenc.gov, or faxed to her at 910-938-5073. Any bid
received after the bid due date and time will be considered non-responsive. There will not be a
public bid opening.
Interested bidders must complete the signature section of this Request for Bids and include all
documents requested herein. The responsibility for submitting bids (including all documents
requested herein) is solely and strictly that of the Bidder. The City is not responsible for delays
in the delivery of the mail or delays caused by any other occurrence.
AWARD OF BID: Proposals will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
RIGHTS: The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject
any or all Proposals, and to accept that Proposal or Proposals which appear to be in the Owner's
best interest.
LICENSURE: BIDDERS must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina
General Statutes.
