The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for City Hall HVAC Group 2 Replacements located in
Jacksonville, North Carolina:
Description: This project includes, but is not limited to, materials and labor
required for HVAC replacements at City of Jacksonville City Hall for units
# RTU-09, RTU-10, RTU-11, RTU-12 & RTU-13. This includes all
equipment, ductwork, necessary plumbing and all other services to
effectively install complete and functional units.
All bids are to be returned to Christy Baysden by 5:00 PM EST on September 7, 2020 at
the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville,
NC 28540. There will not be a public bid opening.
The responsibility for submitting bids (including all documents requested herein) is solely and
strictly that of the bidder. The CITY is not responsible for delays in the delivery of the mail or
delays caused by any other occurrence. Bids received after the time for closing will not be
considered.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the Engineering Division at
Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons
requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The City of Jacksonville will conduct a Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting at _City Hall, Conference
Room A&B, on _August 10, 2020__ at __10:00 AM EST immediately followed by a site
visit.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids,
and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
NO WEAPONS: There shall be no weapons or guns allowed on City property or private property
you are contracted to work at or on.
BID BOND: Each Bidder must deposit a five (5%) percent Bid Security with his/her Bid.
LICENSURE: BIDDERS must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General
Statutes.
