Railroad St. to Newberry St. This project includes, but is not limited to, the construction of an asphalt trail, concrete demolition, concrete ADA compliant curb ramps, stormwater improvements, thermoplastic striping, and signal improvements at the intersection of New Bridge Street and Railroad Street.

Sealed Bids from qualified Bidders for the construction of the Downtown Greenway: Chaney Ave/W. Railroad St to Newberry St will be received, by the City Clerk of the City of Jacksonville, in Meeting Room A, City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540, until 10 AM Eastern Standard Time on July 14, 2022 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. The City will receive single-prime bids only for this project.
