The City of Jacksonville is seeking bids for the procurement and installation of an Oil Water Separator system and associated connection pipes for a trench drainage system currently installed at the City of Jacksonville Public Services Complex. All quotes are due by 12:00 p.m. on March 1, 2024 for the Oil Water Separator on this Request for Bids. Interested bidders must sign this Request for Bids and either email it to Wesley Foy at wfoy@jacksonvillenc.gov or deliver it to the Public Services Department, Engineering Division, at Jacksonville City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
Bids should include all materials, installation, and tax. The City is not exempt from NC State & County Sales Tax.
The Oil Water Separator is to be installed at the Public Services complex, located at 350 S Marine Blvd. The Oil Water Separator will be connected to a trench drainage system located on the edge of a concrete pad at one of the covered shelters. The Oil Water Separator shall have a flow rate of 200 GPM, a water capacity of approximately 265 gallons, and shall be equipped with heavy-duty traffic covers rated at a minimum of 10,000 lbs. The following pipe supplies are necessary for the connection:
- 200 FT 6” SCH40 PVC Pipe
- 2 each - 6” SCH40 DWV 22-1/2 HXH
- 2 each - 6” SCH40 DWV 45 HXH
- 2 each - 6” SCH40 DWV 90 HXH
- 2 each - 6” X 4” SCH40 DWV TEE HXH
*Please note these are an estimated quantity.
Pipe to be installed shall be 6” as stated above to allow for better flow. The trench drainage system has a 4” knockout, so a 4” to 6” adapter will be necessary to accommodate this. Please provide specification documents of Oil Water Separator with your bid.
