The City of Jacksonville is seeking bids for an Interactive Kiosk to serve incoming visitors and will be located at the Albert J. Ellis Airport in Richlands, NC. The City is interested in purchasing one (1) unit that will include one (1) indoor portrait kiosk, with the ability to create itineraries, provide digital brochures, maps, and a social media outlet.

The detailed specifications below are intended for interested bidders to ensure the Interactive Kiosk has the minimum qualification or greater than the information provided.

Scope of services
1. Standard Requirements:
a.) Design and Development of Kiosk.
b.) Data and content integration from tourism website and digital materials.
c.) Standard technical support for kiosk.
d.) Setup and installation of kiosk.
e.) Training for employees responsible for kiosk maintenance.

The delivery will be received at 264 Albert J Ellis Airport Rd. Richlands, NC 28540. Deliveries will be coordinated in advance between the Tourism Coordinator and the successful bidder.

2. Inspection: All materials/supplies shall be the subject of inspection by the Project Manager at time of delivery.

   3. Bids to be Retained: Bids are to remain valid 60 days after receipt of bids.

Bid Submittal Requirements
All bids are to be returned to Jacksonville Tourism Development Authority by 3:00 PM on May 24, 2024, at the Transportation Department at Jacksonville Station located at 1300 N. Marine Blvd., Jacksonville, NC 28540. There will not be a public bid opening.

The responsibility for submitting bids (including all documents requested herein) is solely and strictly that of the bidder. The CITY is not responsible for delays in the delivery of the mail or delays caused by any other occurrence. Bids received after the time for closing will not be considered.

The completed bid document should be addressed to Alexis Zamecnik and emailed to azamecnik@jacksonvillenc.gov, if the bid is sent by mail, address to the following:

There will be no pre-bid meeting. Questions about this bid must be submitted via email, azamecnik@jacksonvillenc.gov, by May 8, 2024, until 5:00pm.

Questions received will be answered through issuance of an addendum on May 15, 2024. Questions received after this time will not be answered. Individual meetings with Bidders will not be held due to personnel workload.
