Pre-Bid Meeting: A mandatory pre-bid meeting is a critical component of the bidding process, designed to provide bidders with a thorough and firsthand understanding of the facility's current conditions and needs as well as to provide an opportunity to clarify and better understand the specifics of the city’s requested services. This walkthrough aims to ensure that all bidders are equally informed and able to develop accurate, realistic, and well-considered proposals. Bidders who do not attend the mandatory walkthrough will be deemed ineligible to submit a proposal. This requirement ensures that all submitted bids are informed and based on a thorough understanding of the project site, leading to fairer and more competitive bidding.

Respondents to this solicitation must submit a sealed response no later than 12:00 PM on Monday, December 2, 2024, at the office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, Central Falls, Rhode Island. The sealed bids will be publicly opened and read at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 2, 2024, in the City Hall Council Chambers. An official authorized to bind the Respondent to the provisions of its response must sign the Response Form. The City will review all responses and reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses.
