CFSD10062023 - Supporting Teacher Teams to Drive Math Academic Acceleration

The chosen vendor will work directly with a team from CFSD and RIDE to:
a) Create a project plan for schoolwide math improvement within three (3) CFSD elementary schools that align with the proposed work of the vendor with the state of RI Learning and Teaching Standards.
b) Serve as a project manager to oversee the completion of project milestones throughout the duration of the project.
c) Develop and support a process to assist school teams as they roll out this initiative and engage in the continuous improvement process to reflect upon and refine the work as the year progresses
d) Facilitate meetings with key CFSD and Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) leaders to gather information and build consensus to develop a framework that helps guide district decision-making.
e) Facilitate a comprehensive series of workshops designed to engage the identified schools (3) in reviewing and revising their School Improvement Plan throughout the year to meet district and RIDE expectations.
f) Conduct and support engagement with key community stakeholders to inform school decisions and planning efforts.
g) Create a Communications Plan to relay the intent of the program and key milestones throughout the duration of the program to internal and external stakeholders.
h) Summarize and analyze the impact of the schools’ math improvement focus, including • Recommendations for immediate actions in the current SY23-24 • Recommendations for additional support or investment necessary in SY24-25 and beyond to support the rapid acceleration of student achievement grounded in research
