REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

BID OPENING TUESDAY NOVEMBER 14, 2023 AT 11:00AM
The City of East Providence is seeking professional, qualified vendors to make improvements at the Kent Heights recreational facility. The improvements include but are not limited to the following: Construction of new and renovated athletic courts, multi-use fields, a dog park, pedestrian surfacing and plaza, miscellaneous earthwork, stormwater controls, planting improvements and soil erosion with sediment control measures located on Clyde Avenue, East Providence RI 02914. Specifications may be downloaded from the City’s website https://eastprovidenceri.gov/rfp
There will be a non-mandatory site visit on MONDAY OCTOBER 30, 2023 AT 2:00PM
One (1) original, Three (3) copies of the bid proposals shall be submitted in one (1) sealed envelope to East Providence City Hall, Controllers Office, Room 103, Attn: Kim Brown, Acting Procurement Specialist, 145 Taunton Ave., East Providence, RI 02914 no later than TUESDAY NOVEMBER 14, 2023 AT 11:00AM. The bids will be publicly opened and recorded. Bids received with a time of 11:01 AM or later will be rejected. The outside envelope needs to be marked RFP EP22/23-34.
The City reserves the right to reject any/or all companies, to waive any informality in the proposal statement and to accept the proposal of any company based on what the City deems to be in its best interest.
