RFP 2023-16.2 Re-Bid - McKinney-Vento Mental Health Services - Re-Bid

The North Kingstown School Department (NKSD) seeks the services of qualified licensed mental health practitioners to accommodate mental health services and case management for McKinney-Vento eligible youth for the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 school years. North Kingstown annually engages with between 35 and 50 displaced youth and their families. Assessments show that these populations of students face higher degrees of trauma and subsequent school attendance and behavior challenges. The NKSD seeks highly qualified providers/agencies to provide the following services to eligible students:
● Individual counseling
● Group counseling;
● Case consultation (as requested by district employees) 
Services are anticipated to be needed for approximately 5 hours/week within the current and forthcoming school years. Services will be offered when school is in session, as needed and as long as funds are available. A  combination of individual counseling (3 hours/week) and group counseling (2 hours/week) are anticipated.
