The Town of North Smithfield Rhode Island (the “Town”) seeks services of qualified architectural and engineering firms with expertise in conducting a Conceptual and Schematic Design Services for the Master Planning of the future Halliwell Community Center located at 358 Victory Highway, North Smithfield, RI.
Qualifications must be received no later than January 31, 2023 at 10:00 AM to be eligible and will be opened in public at that time in the Office of the Finance Director, North Smithfield Town Hall, 83 Greene Street, North Smithfield, RI. Qualifications statements shall be submitted in sealed envelopes that are clearly marked “Halliwell Property Master Planning QUALIFICATIONS STATEMENT “.
An award of work for this project will be made on a Qualifications Based Selection process where the highest scoring firm will be invited to provide a cost proposal for negotiation of an agreement. Should an acceptable agreement not be reached with that firm, a cost proposal will be solicited from the next most qualified entity and so on until an agreement can be achieved that meets the needs of Town. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all submittals or any part thereof, to eliminate certain tasks, to add tasks, to waive any information in the submittals, and to engage the services of a qualified firm considered to be in the best interest of the Town.
