Summary: The Rhode Island Office of Healthy Aging is providing grant funds to enable North Smithfield to offer a senior transportation program from November 2024 to June 2025, with the option to extend the program for an additional three years. The Town is seeking to offer a transportation program to enable seniors to travel from their respective places of residence to various retail grocers located within the Town. Transportation to entertainment events and venues may also be offered. The volume and need are undetermined as number of seniors utilizing this service is unknown at this time. As a result, the Town asks that service providers be as flexible as possible.

Sealed bids (proposals) will be accepted in the office of the Finance Director, North Smithfield Town Hall, 83 Greene Street, North Smithfield, RI, until 9:30 AM on November 7, 2024.
