The Portsmouth School Department hereinafter called the “PSD” will receive sealed bids for the following:
Melville Elementary School Restroom Renovations
Sealed Bids shall be received at the office of the Administration Building, 29 Middle Road, Portsmouth, Rhode Island 02871, no later than: 2:00 PM on March 9, 2023 for the “Melville Elementary School Restroom Renovations” project where they will be read aloud.
Bids received after the stipulated time shall not be accepted and will be returned unopened.
All Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the Director of Finance, Portsmouth School Department, 29 Middle Road, Portsmouth, Rhode Island 02871, and must be plainly marked in the lower left hand corner, “Melville Elementary School Restroom Renovations”. Please provide two (2) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy on USB with your submittal.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid on site conference is scheduled for February 14, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Melville Elementary School, 1351 W Main Rd, Portsmouth, RI 02871.

No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days subsequent to the date of the bid opening. The Portsmouth School Department reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any and all bids or to accept any bids deemed to be in the best interest of the School Department.
This project is a prevailing wage project and requires a 5% Bid Bond. The project requires 10% MBE/WBE Participation. The successful bidder will be required to furnish 100% Payment and Performance Bonds at the time of award.
