Description

The project is a two-phase project and is located at Irving Avenue (from Loring Avenue to the Seekonk
River) and River Road in Providence, Rhode Island. Proposed improvements include installation of
additional catch basins, drainage structures, and drain pipe, removal and disposal of paved areas within
Irving Avenue, sidewalk installation, erosion controls, cold planning and pavement overlay, pavement
markings, and installation of a bioretention filter, sand filters, sediment forebays and landscaping. This
project also proposes measures to repair and stabilize eroded areas along the riverbank, installation of curb
and paved waterways along the east side of River Road, and installation of plantings throughout the project area
