PVD21-17 - TEMPORARY RELOCATION PROVIDER

The Lead and Healthy Homes Program anticipates property improvements in 275 eligible units throughout the city. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Lead Safe Housing Rule provides requirements for occupant protection during lead hazard reduction activities. Relocation to a temporary unit may be required. To ensure the successful completion of the program’s goals, the City of Providence is requesting proposals to from a hotel or extended stay to provide temporary relocation services to various residents throughout the forty-two-month time period of the grant. It is anticipated the relocation will not exceed 10 days per household. The hotel must be handi-cap accessible and free of any pests.
