It is the intent of the Town to negotiate a specific Scope of Work on a project-by-project basis
with the selected consultant, taking into account the required work elements, the available
information and resources that the Town may have, and the consultant's particular skill set. The
selected consultant will be required to provide a detailed written estimate of their anticipated fees for
each such project. No actual work on the project can commence or will be considered until written
authorization to proceed is granted by the Town.
Work conducted under this RFQ will generally, although not exclusively, be funded through
current adopted budget appropriations. From time to time, the Town participates in outside
funding mechanisms (i.e. grants, loans and/or funds received through the American Rescue Plan Act),
which may be used to fund projects under this RFQ.
