20210602 - CLEAN ENERGY FINANCE CONSULTING FIRM TO EVALUATE VIRTUAL NET METERING PROPOSALS

The Town of Smithfield (the “Town”) is soliciting Proposals from clean energy finance consulting firms to evaluate potential virtual net metering and renewable energy growth projects specifically, including solar (PV) and wind and make a recommendation on a virtual net metering and/or renewable energy growth tariff agreements and projects to the Town Council that provides the greatest long-term savings and/or revenue to the Town. The Town anticipates receiving virtual net metering and renewable energy growth tariff proposals for potential projects on the town’s former landfill and closed gravel pit properties. The Town also anticipates virtual net metering project proposals in other parts of the State.
