Sealed Bids are invited on a General Contract for the above referenced project for the new construction of the Smithfield Fire Station, including site work. All Bids must be on a Lump Sum Basis; segregated Bids will not be accepted.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for this Project will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 10:00am at the Project site - George Washington Highway, Smithfield RI. Contractors will be required to visit the job site and be completely familiar with all existing conditions as they relate to the Project.
All written questions will be submitted on or before NOON Wednesday July 6, 2022 and will be responded to on Tuesday July 12, 2022.
All Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the exterior of the envelope "BID FOR SMITHFIELD FIRE STATION – GEORGE WASHINGTON HWY, SMITHFIELD, RI". The Town's Purchasing Agent will receive Bids until 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 21, 2022, at the Smithfield Town Hall, 64 Farnum Pike. BIDS RECEIVED AFTER THIS TIME WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. FAXED BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. BIDS WILL BE OPENED PUBLICLY.
