Request for Proposal (RFP) – Fireworks Display
Purpose: The Town of Tiverton’s Recreation Commission, with permission from the Tiverton Town Council is seeking proposals for the 2023 Fireworks Display to be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023, with a rain date of Sunday, May 28, 2023. Said display is to be offered utilizing a barge moored in the Sakonnet River just South of Grinnell’s Beach. The associated costs for the barge and all necessary permits must be included in submitted proposals.
General Information: Tiverton is a community of approximately 16,000 residents situated along the Sakonnet River and Mount Hope Passage. The community provides municipal services including but not limited to public safety, code enforcement, public works, senior services, library services, planning and zoning, and administrative services.
The community is seeking to contract with a pyrotechnic display contractor to conduct a fireworks display at an annual celebration along the waterfront on Saturday, May 27, 2023 with a rain date of Sunday, May 28, 2023 beginning at or around dusk. The fireworks will be discharged from a barge located to the south of Grinnell’s Beach (barge to be offered or rented by the winning bidder).
Instructions: Submit proposals to the Tiverton Town Clerk’s Office, 343 Highland Road, Tiverton, RI 02878, in a sealed envelope clearly marked “RFP Tiverton Recreation Fireworks Display” no later than 3:00 P.M. on March 31, 2023.
