Description

FRAMES, GRATES AND COVERS
Bids shall be to supply the City of Warwick, Rhode Island with its requirements for cast iron frames, grates and covers for drainage structures for a period of one year.
CAST IRON FRAMES, GRATES AND COVERS
Cast iron frames, grates and covers for catch basins and manholes shall conform to the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, Department of Transportation, Division of Public Work Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge construction, , as amended April 2016. Dimensions shall conform to the State of Rhode Island Standard Details, and shall bear the name "City of Warwick" molded on covers.
PRICE AND DISTANCE
The prices shall be submitted on a unit basis as indicated. The City of Warwick welcomes bids for alternate materials and designs as long as they meet RIDOT Standards.
It will be the sole responsibility of the City to determine the acceptability of any material supplied during the period covered by the contract.
