2023-079 - Local Limits Technical Evaluation

The scope of work shall consist of a detailed evaluation of the WSA’s existing local limits for toxic and conventional pollutants. The contractor must submit a comprehensive technical memorandum summarizing the findings of the evaluation and recommendations for changes to existing local limits and, if warranted, implementation of new pollutant local limits. With regard to conventional pollutant local limits, the objective of the evaluation will be to reduce or eliminate violation notices for small dischargers that are currently implementing best practices that do not negatively affect treatment capacity and still have exceedances, while at the same time protecting both the collection system and treatment facility from detrimental amounts of these pollutants.
