The Warwick Fire Department is seeking bids for Structural Firefighting Particulate Hoods, in accordance with the following specifications.
All prices will remain in effect (1) year from date of award with the option of an additional term.
All prices are to include shipping and handling charges. Particulate hoods are to be shipped to Warwick Fire Department, 111 Veterans Memorial Drive, Warwick, RI 02886. All orders will be placed on an as needed basis throughout the contract period.
A sample particulate hood meeting the requirements of this specification must be supplied upon request for inspection and verification of compliance within 10 working days

The purpose of the hood is to provide protection during structural firefighting operations where there is a threat of fire or when certain physical hazards are likely to be encountered, such as during non-fire-related rescue operations, emergency medical operations, and victim extrication
