GRAND STRAND WATER & SEWER AUTHORITY
SCHWARTZ WWTP DIGESTER BLOWER REPLACEMENT

Sealed bids for the construction of the SCHWARTZ WWTP DIGESTER BLOWER REPLACEMENT project will be received by Grand Strand Water & Sewer Authority at their office located at 166 Jackson Bluff Road, Conway, South Carolina, 29526 until 2:00 PM on February 27, 2025.

The project includes the installation of two (2) 300 HP blowers and three (3) 150 HP blowers to replace existing blowers. The project shall include all sitework, piping, fittings, valves, appurtenances, and other items required for a complete functioning project as shown on the Contract Drawings and included in the detailed specifications.

The Contract Documents may be examined at Grand Strand Water & Sewer Authority located at 166 Jackson Bluff Road, Conway, South Carolina 29526.

If desired, hard copies of half scale drawings and of the Contract Documents may be obtained from MBD Consulting Engineers, a Division of Weston & Sampson Engineers, Inc. at 911 Norman Alley, Conway, South Carolina 29526, (843) 488-0124. The hard copy costs are $300 (non-refundable).

Bidders must provide a 5% bid bond.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner further reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder whom it finds, after reasonable inquiry and evaluation, to not be responsible. Owner may also reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder. Owner also reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder.
