2017-18-720 - NOTICE OF BID OPPORTUNITY for Runway 5-23 Rehabilitation & Airfield Improvements

Base Bid work consists of the rehabilitation of existing Runway 5-23 with concrete pavement overlay.  Additionally, connnector  taxiway rehabilitation is included in the Base Bid and will be evaluated utilizing asphalt pavement (Schedule 1A) and concrete pavement (Schedule 1B). Base Bid related work includes signage, marking and minor shoulder modifications to establish a temporary runway using existing parallel Taxiway A. Additive Bid work consists of remaining taxiway system pavement and 2B respectively), similar to the Base Bid. Related addititve Bid work includes esisting taxiway demolition and new taxiway construction as well as widening. Both Base and Additive Bid work contain signage replacement, new permanent marking, edge lighting adjustments, and drainage improvements.  Alternate Bids 1 and 2 provide for new edge lighting for the runway and taxiway system respectively.
