2020-21-019 - Source Capture Exhaust Systems and Installation

Licensed firms are invited to submit electronic sealed bids for "Source Capture Exhaust Systems and Installation - IFB # 2020-21-019”. Bids will be submitted via Horry County’s electronic bid software not later than 2:00 p.m., Local Time, January 22, 2021.  No fax, email, telephone, hand delivered, or text bid submittals will be accepted. It is anticipated that any goods and/or services under the resulting contract from this solicitation may be funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Assistance to FireFighters Grant (AFG) and is contingent upon funding availability; therefore, all rules and regulations related to the funding source apply., including but not limited to 2 C.F.R. § 200.317 – 326 and Appendix II to Part 200—Contract Provisions for Non-Federal Entity Contracts Under Federal Awards with the exception of Part (D) Davis Bacon Act. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held January 7 2021, at 9:00 a.m., Local Time, Allens Fire #27 2501 Baywater Rd., Conway, SC 29527. We will travel to several other locations on the list so please plan for at least 6 hours. Local Vendor Preference is NOT APPLICABLE to this sealed bid process.

Your firm is required to provide bid security in the sum of no less than five percent (5%) of the bid price (excluding alternates and/or optional bid items). The successful and awarded bidder will be required to submit Performance and Payment Bonds in the sum of no less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
