The Horry County Solid Waste Authority, Inc. is requesting electronic sealed proposals for the BORROW AREA DEVELOPMENT AND INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT.

The project site is the Horry County Solid Waste Authority Landfill Facility located on Highway 90 approximately 5 miles southeast of Conway, South Carolina. The project consists of labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete:
• Construction of a 650’-long, 36’-total width prestressed concrete bridge utilizing top-down construction methods;
• Hauling, spreading, compacting, and testing approximately 1.15 Million Cubic Yards of onsite soil to backfill former soil borrow areas; and
• Associated erosion and sedimentation controls.

Prospective bidders not requesting login credentials from Mr. Fortner shall be considered unresponsive. Prospective bidders may also make pre-arranged site visits Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Site visits must be coordinated with Mr. Mike Bessant with the Horry County Solid Waste Authority.
