The City of Box Elder will be accepting sealed bids for Well 10 – Site Grading and Well House Foundation, Project No. 23022BID3, until 2:00 PM local time, July 30, 2024, at the Box Elder City Hall, 420 Villa Drive, Box Elder, South Dakota, 57719.
The City of Box Elder is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors for site grading and construction of the well house foundation for Box Elder Well 10. The well house foundation construction includes the following: site grading; installing electrical conduit on the site through the foundation into the well house; installing ductile iron water pipe into the foundation; installing storage tank for the floor drain; and management of the well house onto the foundation. More details of requirements, a map of the site location, and site plan can be found in the bid package.
Contractor must coordinate with other work on site including water main construction and well equipment installation.
Bidders shall review the work areas to verify the quantities of work for the project.

Bidders must have access to a current set of City of Box Elder Standard Construction Specifications, which can be found on the City’s website at https://www.boxeldersd.us/ departments/Engineering All public improvements are required to conform to these specifications and bid prices must reflect these specifications.
Bids may not be withdrawn prior to thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The Owner will award the bid within ten (10) days after the bid opening.
The Owner and Contractor hereby acknowledges that the time of completion of the work is of vital importance, and the Contractor will be required to complete the work within the time stipulated in the contract.
