The City of Box Elder is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors to construct a 6” water main from the City of Box Elder’s Well No.10 wellhead across 150th Avenue to the existing 8” PVC water main. More details of requirements, a map of the site location, and site plan can be found in the bid package under Bid Item Descriptions and Appendix I.
Contractor must coordinate with other work on site including on-site grading, foundation, electrical and well installation.

Bid Proposals shall be submitted to the Box Elder Finance Office no later than 2:00 PM local time, July 18, 2024. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Well 10 – Water Main Installation, Project No. 23022BID2”. Bid envelopes shall also bear the name and address of the bidder. If submitted by mail the bid proposal envelope shall be inside a separate mailing envelope addressed to the City of Box Elder, 420 Villa Drive, Box Elder, South Dakota, 57719. No emailed bid can be accepted.
An optional pre-bid meeting will be held on July 11, 2024, at 3:00 PM local time at the PW Admin Building, 206 Frontage Road, Box Elder, South Dakota, 57719. Email requests to join the Teams Meeting to alecia.colombe@boxelder.us.
